New small business tax credits for providing health insurance to employees are available starting in 2010. Dependents under age 26 may be insured under their parent's plan on or after September 23, 2010. Certain preventive services are provided without cost-sharing for new plans beginning on or after September 23, 2010. A temporary high-risk pool will provide health coverage to people with pre-existing medical conditions. Effective September 23, 2010, federal health reform may require changes to your coverage, depending on your plan. |
